The Court sets a new class certification schedule
In September 2026, the Court granted a motion to adjust the remaining class certification deadlines. The hearing on class certification is now scheduled for February 26, 2027.
What happened
A motion asked the Court to move the remaining deadlines for class certification briefing and expert discovery. The Court granted it. [Confirm filing party and dates for Dkt. Nos. 586 and 589.]
The new dates
- October 30, 2026. Defendants file their opposition and expert disclosures.
- December 18, 2026. Expert depositions on class certification close.
- December 30, 2026. Deadline for motions to exclude expert testimony.
- January 15, 2027. Residents file their reply.
- February 26, 2027. Hearing on class certification.
What it means for you
The schedule gives both sides time to finish expert discovery before the Court decides class certification. It does not change the claims or the proposed classes.
